To ring in the New Year, we went over to our friends house, Keven and Jessica. They have two beautiful little boys, Ethan (3) and Dylan (almost 1). Jes and I were in the boy's room watching the kids play and before we knew it, it was already 915 and we hadn't brought out the parties toys our for the kids to play with. So we did that, snapped the last few pictures of 2008 and then it was 945 and we thought it we would let the kids stay up till 10 and they can celebrate 2009, Eastern Time! We turned on the Dick Clark Rockin New Years Celebration to watch the ball drop and Lovely Idaho News decides to cut to the local news and doesnt show the ball drop at 10. UGH!!! They show the "Pre-Recorded" ball drop at our midnight. I was bummed, but oh well. The kids still had a great time. We even let them toast ("Cheers") to sparkling cyder in the sippy cups :) Oh, and Daddy made mommy teary-eyed. He made the statement that this was Erins first full year. Time goes by way to fast....
