The long awaited post!!!

February 2009!!!

The month started with us planning Erins birthday party. We decided to do a pizza party with the kids in my daycare. We had a cup cake cake (which is 24 cup cakes that make up a cake). The party went off well, and she got some cool toys.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY ERIN!!!

February 12 & 13
Erin woke up at 11:30pm coughing really bad and couldn't catch her breath. This went on most of the night. Thankfully I already had a 1pm well-baby appointment to get her 2yr shots, measurements, and make sure she is on track developmentally. Around 9am, she seemed to be getting worse and was wheezing so I went ahead and took to the Urgent Care (ER). We were able to be seen by her pediatrician. He said she had early pneumonia and needed to be watched very closely over the next few days to make sure it doesn't progress into full blown pneumonia. He went ahead and did her well-baby exam. She weights 26.8lbs and 35.5inches tall. She is in the 50% for other children her age for weight, and 48% for her height!! Not bad from where she started!! I can believe she is already 1/2 my height!! Erin recovered well from being sick.
The 13th also brought the offical day of our house being For Sale.

February 14

Lacey and her boyfriend Kevin came to visit from Colorado. They are at the Air Force Academy. Erin got to open up her birthday gifts from Nanny, Aunt Lacey & Kevin.

We had another Birthday cake. Aunt Lacey started a cake fight with Erin.

That evening we all rocked out on rock band & guitar hero!

February 15

After a late night, we got up early to go snowboarding at Bogus. It was a fun day filled with Mommy getting injured and brought down the mountain on a snowmobile sled. Erin spent the day are her friends house.

Erin chopped down on Aunt Lacey's finger! HAHA

Then we had to say "bye" to Aunt Lacey and Kevin so they could make the trek back to C-Springs.

February 17

Daddy wasnt feeling well. He spent a fe hours in the ER, and needed a few bag of IV fluids. He got a few days off work.
